SHaRON Oxfordshire Neurodevelopmental Established In: 2024

The Neurodevelopmental Conditions pathway (NDC) is one of the specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
The NDC offers diagnostic assessments (autism and ADHD) as well as other neuro-developmental conditions.
Post diagnostic interventions are also offered including, psychoeducation, 1:1 therapy and medication.

“SHaRON is available to parents/carers who have a young person who is known to the Oxfordshire CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Conditions (NDC) Service. This might be on a diagnostic or treatment waiting list or being seen for treatment. Parents find the wide variety of resources available within the forum section very helpful. It provides a safe, secure, and non-judgmental environment for parents/carers to communicate and to give and receive support from others who have been, or are on, the same journey. Parents have shared that they “felt less isolated sharing and reading other people’s experiences and advice” and “it gave me more perspective.”
